FAMILY FISHING AT WHIPPLE DAM
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Family Fishing Days at Whipple Dam State Park are on the following dates: June 14, July 4 and 12 at 10AM. Join the park staff for a morning of fishing. Poles and bait will be provided. No fishing license is required during this program. Meet at the fishing pier.

1:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Presented by the East Waterford Presbyterian Church, the East Waterford Independence Day Celebration will be held on Friday, July 4. This is the area’s largest parade. Registration is from 1:30-2:30PM. The parade will step off at 3:00. No cost to participate. Prize money and awards to all winners. Categories to register in include patriotic, religious, walking/marching, vehicle, comical, emergency response, non-profit organization, horse and other animals. All area businesses and candidates, queens, civic groups/organizations are welcome to be in the parade, too!

44TH ANNUAL BIG VALLEY CONCERT & ICE CREAM SOCIAL
6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
The 44th annual Big Valley Bluegrass/Gospel Concert and Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday, July 5 at 6PM at Locust Grove Mennonite Church. Featuring music from J-Tyme and The Unusual Suspects String Band. Please bring a dessert to share in the ice cream social. Iced tea, lemonade, and Hostettler’s ice cream will be provided. Your generous donations support this live, local event.
