Wine Down Weekend is one of Central Pennsylvania’s signature wine and spirits celebrations—an elegant, vibrant, and highly anticipated event designed to spotlight Pennsylvania wineries and distilleries in the heart of Downtown Huntingdon. Held on Saturday, August 30, this event offers a unique opportunity for producers to showcase their brands directly to hundreds of engaged consumers in a beautiful, walkable downtown setting. Attendees can stroll through historic streets while enjoying tastings, purchasing glasses and bottles, and connecting with passionate local makers. Alongside the wine and spirits, the event features live music, artisan vendors, local food trucks, games, and a welcoming community atmosphere that prioritizes quality experiences.

Burnham Community Day will be held on Saturday, August 30 from 9AM to 3PM. Come on out to Beech Street for a fun-filled day for the whole family!

CLASH OF THE AXEMEN
12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Come on out to East Broad Top Railroad to experience the excitement and tradition of the lumberjack! The Clash of the Axemen will take place on Saturday, August 30 at Noon. Several nationally recognized lumberjack competitors step into the rail yard and compete in several exciting events. Admission is free. Bring chairs or blankets.

Parmalee is coming to the Juniata County Fair on Sunday, August 31 at 8:30PM. Tickets can only be purchased online through Juniata County Fair’s official website at www.juniatacountyfair.com or through the Port Royal Speedway website, www.portroyalspeedway.com.

Grandstand seating – $35

Concert will be held rain or shine. Speedway season reserved seats are not valid for this event. This is no infield seating for this event.
