Area residents will cast ballots in today’s General Election for several municipal and county offices, along with Pennsylvania Superior Court Judges.  In Mifflin, Juniata, and Huntingdon Counties, voters will select countywide representatives, including Commissioner and District Attorney, as well as School Board.  Lewistown will select members of Borough Council.  Juniata County will select several Judges.

 

Some residents in Lewistown will be without power for several hours today for maintenance work.  Penelec says customers on North Pine, North Walnut, and parts of Valley Street will be without electrical power from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm while crews make repairs in the area.

 

Nestlé USA is initiating a voluntary recall of ready-to-bake refrigerated Nestlé Toll House Cookie Dough products due to the potential presence of food-grade rubber pieces. This voluntary recall only covers specific batch codes of the following products, which include ready-to-bake refrigerated Nestlé Toll House Cookie Dough bars, tubs and tube-shaped “chubs.”   The recall is limited to products that begin with 9189 through batch codes that begin with 9295.  Consumers who purchased the products should discard them.  For consumer support and product questions, call 1-800-681-1676.
