Authorities are investigating a case of endangering the welfare of a child in Huntingdon County. According to State Police, the investigation involves a three-year-old Mapleton Depot boy. The incident occurred while police investigated a possible drug overdose of a 34-year-old woman August 2nd on Smith Valley Road in Union Township.

A Huntingdon County theft is under investigation by State Police. In late July, $2,000 was reported stolen from Standing Stone Golf Club in Oneida Township.
