The Mifflin County High School Drama Club has exciting news to share! Specifically, the talented team of cast and crew returns this winter with the production of High School Musical. Held in the Mifflin County High School Auditorium, the production runs:

• Friday, February 18 at 6:30PM,
• Saturday, February 19 at 12:30PM, 6:30PM, and
• Sunday February 20 at 1PM.

Based on the 2006 Disney Channel Original Movie, this musical follows the developing relationship between basketball star Troy and new girl, Gabriella. Having met and bonded during summer vacation, Troy and Gabriella are reunited at the beginning of the school year.  When they decide to audition for the school musical together, they meet resistance from mean girl and former leading lady Sharpay, her brother, and even their friends. This musical explores issues of friendship, acceptance, and first love through meaningful dialogue, contemporary music, and high-energy dance routines. Attendees are guaranteed to leave with a smile on their face, a song in their heart and understanding that “We’re All in This Together!”
