Geisinger is making it easier by offering drive-thru flu vaccine clinics through early November.  Flu shots are available at no cost.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone age 6 months and older get vaccinated against the flu every year.  While the flu vaccine will not protect you against COVID-19, it can help keep you out of the hospital. Geisinger primary care offices are offering the drive-thru flu shots to patients and Geisinger Health Plan members on Saturday, September 12th, and Saturday, September 19th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Geisinger-Lewistown, plus several locations in Centre County.  Remember to wear a mask and loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the upper arm.  For a full list of flu shot locations, visit geisinger.org/flunews.
