Two employees of the Weis Market in Burnham have been charged with theft after an internal investigation by Weis Asset Protection managers.  According to Mifflin County Regional Police, Patricia Kuhn of Lewistown, and Ryan Johnson of Reedsville were part of a fraudulent refund scheme.  Between August 26th and November 5th, Kuhn and Johnson conspired to make 38 cash refunds totaling more than $1400.  They were charged with theft by deception, receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy.

 

Senator John Eichelberger, Jr. will provide insight into the most recent developments at the Capitol during his upcoming Huntingdon County Town Hall Meeting.  The open, informal forum is part of the Senator’s effort to make state government accessible for all residents of the 30th District.  Proof of 30th District residency is required for entry.  The town hall is Thursday, (November 16th) from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Shirley Township Municipal Building in Shirleysburg.  For more information, call 814-695-8386.
