A New York man died Friday evening after his bicycle crashed into a school bus. The accident happened during Dirt Fest. Police said 54-year-old Marc McEntee, of Croton on Hudson, New York, tried to negotiate a sharp curve at the same time as the school bus, which was driving in the opposite direction. McEntee laid his bike into the path of the bus. CPR was performed at the scene but the bicyclist later died at J.C. Blair Hospital. The driver of the bus, Robin Rupert, of Tyrone, was not injured.

State Police are looking for a rather distinctive dirt bike that was stolen from a garage in Snyder County. The motorcycle is white with orange fenders, the racing number 948 and a front placard that reads “Mid State Pest Control”. It was stolen from a property in Perry Township late last week.

A Penn State student died from electrocution after falling from the roof of her three-story apartment building Friday in State College. Police said 21-year-old Shannon Mathers of Warrington, PA, was sitting on the roof of the building near West College Avenue. She was pronounced dead at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Police call the case an accident.

A Milroy woman is charged with involuntary manslaughter after an accident that resulted in the deaths of two people. Granville Township Police say 66-year-old Virginia Jones was driving a van on Route 22/522 last May when the van hit a tractor trailer. Two occupants in the van died.
