A Snyder County teenager has been charged with several crimes after an investigation by Middleburg Police.  Authorities say a 17-year-old male student at Midd-West High School told a school social worker he wanted to be the leader of the “purge,” and kill all his classmates in response to bullying at the school.  The student was removed from school by police.  Charges filed through Snyder County Juvenile Court include terroristic threats, simple assault, and disorderly conduct.  The student was remanded to a juvenile detention facility.

State Police say a female student at Juniata Elementary School was found in possession of a threatening list including the names of forty-seven people.  The incident, which took place on February 18th, is being handled by the Juniata County School District.  Charges will not be filed due to the age of the student.

Charges of rape have been filed against a Lewistown man.  Borough Police arrested 23-year-old Curtis Snook after an incident February 25th on Pannebaker Avenue.  He apparently took an 18-year-old female to an apartment and forced her to have sex.  Snook confessed to police on March 6th.  He was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility on charges of rape, indecent assault, and aggravated indecent assault.

A Pottstown woman was injured over the weekend in a one-vehicle accident in Juniata County.  According to State Police, 70-year-old Joanne Fritz lost control of her Chrysler 300 on Route 35 in Tuscarora Township Saturday morning.  The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole before overturning onto its passenger side against a tree.  Fritz was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for suspected injuries.

The American Red Cross will be in Perry County for a blood drive today.  You can give the “Gift of Life” at American Legion Post #364 on North Pine Street in Liverpool from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
