Roadway improvements continue this week on Route 322 near Burnham.  The contractor will begin full-depth reconstruction of Ferguson Valley Road (Route 1007) between Valero and the Glenn O. Hawbaker construction yard today (April 8th).  Flaggers will be enforcing an alternating traffic pattern while this work takes place.   The contractor will also continue building the embankment for the new westbound Burnham interchange, and continue channel work on Route 322 eastbound. Traffic through the work zone will be controlled through single lane closures.

A traffic change is scheduled to begin today on a Route 35 bridge job in Juniata County.  The bridge spans Cocolamus Creek, two miles northeast of the village of Cocolamus in Fayette Township. Drivers will be diverted to a temporary road that will carry traffic around the work zone. Once traffic is switched to the temporary roadway, the bridge will be closed, and replacement work will begin. PennDOT expects the new bridge to be open to traffic in mid-November.
